This recipe combines the delicate flavour of the Starry Triggerfish with the bold and spicy flavors of Rawon, a traditional Indonesian dish. The Wahyu Brand Rawon instant cooking paste makes it easy to create this delicious dish at home.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons of Wahyu Brand Rawon paste
- 1 medium-sized Starry Triggerfish
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 5 tablespoons of turmeric powder
- Wahyu Brand Sambal Kicap
- Limes, red & green chilli, chopped onions for garnish
Instructions:
- Slather on turmeric powder and 2 tablespoons of Wahyu Brand Rawon paste onto both sides of the fish.
- Heat oil in a pan on medium heat. Place marinated fish onto pan and let cook on each side for 3-5 minutes or until fish is cooked.
- Place the fish onto a plate and pour Wahyu Brand Sambal Kicap on top of the fish. Garnish with chopped onions, red and green chillies, as well as sliced limes.
