Here is how you make the classic indonesian salad, Gado-Gado, using Wahyu Brand's Bumbu Pecel Paste:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup mixed vegetables (long beans, cabbage, bean sprouts, cucumber, water spinach, turnip)
- 1 cup boiled and diced tofu and tempeh
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 200g of Wahyu Bumbu Pecel paste
- 200ml of water
- Diced rice cakes
Instructions:
1. Blanch each of the chopped vegetables for a few minutes or according to preference, can be eaten raw.
2. In a pan, heat up the oil and fry the diced tofu and tempeh till brown.
3. In a pot of water, pour in Wahyu Brand Bumbu Pecel paste and let it thicken to paste. Adjust the water to paste ratio accordingly based on the desired thickness of sauce.
4. Plate up all ingredients and sauce altogether
